Cable Requirements
The cables between SpectraProbe XE system components are described in the system installation
drawing provided at the end of this chapter.
The following cables are provided with the standard system:
• RS-485 from the tile holder to the sensor, 3 feet
• RS-485 from the support unit to the sensor, 50 feet
• Power cable from the support unit to the sensor, 50 feet
• Isolated RS-232 from the support unit to the PC, 100 feet.
Additional cable lengths may be purchased from HunterLab.
