Routine Maintenance Schedule
The following schedule outlines the routine maintenance procedures for the SpectraProbe XE.
Every four hours
Perform secondary standardization.
Daily
Wipe the sensor viewing window clean.
Weekly
Clean the standards using a laboratory-grade detergent and a nylon brush. Wipe
dry with a lint-free paper towel that is free of FWAs.
Clean the exterior of the sensor and mounting. Pay particular attention to the Z-
axis bellows.
Perform primary calibration.
Perform UV calibration if UV filter installed.
Read the green tile.
Monthly
Check the operation of the Z-axis system and automatic tile holder.
As needed
Replace lamp.
Replace fuses.
