To configure a WX switch for basic service, perform the following tasks,
in this order:
1 Configure an enable password. (See "Configuring an Enable Password"
on page 38.)
2 Install an upgrade license, if applicable. (See "Installing an Upgrade
License" on page 39.)
3 Configure time and date parameters. (See "Configuring the Time and
Date" on page 40.)
4 Configure IP connectivity. (See "Configuring IP Connectivity" on
page 42.)
5 Enable secure communication for 3WXM or Web Manager management.
Perform this task only if you intend to use these interfaces. (See
"Enabling Secure Communication for 3WXM or Web Manager" on
page 46.)
6 Specify the country of operation. (See "Specifying the Country of
Operation" on page 56.)
CAUTION: Setting the country code to the incorrect value can result in
the MAPs using the wrong radio channels and power levels for the
country. This can cause interference with other vital equipment.
