Before you start a protocol run, you should check the BenchCel Microplate Handler to
ensure optimum operation. Perform the following procedure before each protocol run.
To check that the BenchCel and integrated devices are ready for a run:

Ensure the labware racks are filled with the correct labware.

Make sure there are no stray microplates in robot-accessible locations, including
platepads or plate stages on integrated devices.

Remove any obstacle in the robot's pathways. Consider the path of the robot head
and arms.

For the devices that require compressed air, make sure the air pressure meets the
operating requirements.

Make sure all devices and accessories are set up correctly and prepared for the run.
