Jumper Switch
The two COM ports of AMAX-5490 can be configured to RS232/422/485 modes by
setting the jumpers and switches as below methods:

Jumper Switch Settings
SW3 (for COM1) and SW4 (for COM2) are designed for RS232/485/422 interface
selection.
