Replacing the Fan Assembly

To replace a fan unit in a ProxySG 900 Series appliance:
1. Check for a faulty fan:
a. Log in to the appliance:
https://ip_address:8082
where ip_address is the IP address assigned to the appliance.
In the Management Console, navigate to Maintenance > System and Disks >

c. Click the View Sensors button to display a table that shows fan status.
d. Identify the fan that should be replaced (in this example, fan #5):

Note: Each fan assembly consists of two fans unit. As a result, each fan assembly shows
fan sensor readings for two fans.
