7.5.5. (15) LED head cannot be recognized. (error code 131, 132, 133, 134)

(15-1-1) Check the system connection
Connecting Check the connecting condition of the FFC
condition of the CU/ by the visual inspection.
PU board connector

Head FFC Remove the head FFC from the printer.
Check if any open-circuit or peeling-off of
sheath has occurred or not throughout the
cable.
Conduction of the Check that measurements taken at both
fuse on the CU/PU ends of each capacitor CP6 show 5V. (See
board section 7.6.)
Or, instead of the above, check if each fuse
F501 is open or not.

Toner sensor Is the receptor of the toner sensor stained?
Toner sensor Confirm that the toner sensor works
normally by using the SWITCH SCAN
function of the self-diagnostic mode.
Place a white paper in front of the toner
sensor, and check if the SCAN state
changes or not.
