Calculation
4. Using the
screen on the next lower level.
The Offset screen displays the current
value and a keyboard for inputting
numeric values.
5. Set Offset "L".
• If necessary, input Offset "L".
• See page 4-2 for keyboard input.
• There is no problem in operation
even if the default value "0" is left
as is.
6. Set coefficient "K".
• Touch
in the Offset screen and
display the coefficient screen.
• If necessary, set coefficient "K".
Ordinarily, the default value "1" is left
as is.
• In independent operation, touch
and set the Offset "L" and coefficient
"K" for each sensor head H1: Sensor
Head 1, H2: Sensor Head 2.
Reference Input Range: L1, L2, L = ±999.9999mm K1, K2, K = 0.0001 to 99.9999
Default Settings: L1 = L2 = L = 0, K1 = K2 = K = 1
Supplementary Explanation
• "A" and "B" in the calculation formula for the add/subtract mode indicate results of
independent calculation of sensor head 1 and sensor head 2.
For example, "L + K (A + B)" indicates "L + K {(L1 + K1A) + (L2 + K2B)}.
• To execute the add/subtract calculation, set the average number of samples of head 2 to
OFF, and set the average of calculation value, using the head 1.
• Use the calculation so the result does not exceed ±999.9999mm. If the range is
exceeded, correct output is not obtained at the serial port.
