Sending and Receiving Data
This section explains the Command transmission from the PC to the controller for giving,
changing, or monitoring parameters or reading measurements.

1. Send a Command from the PC to the controller.
2. When a Command is received, the controller returns a response and executes the
Command.
If no response is returned, the Command has not reached the controller.
During RS-232C control, the controller stops measuring twice each time a communication
session is held for communication with an external device.
Send/receive the Command when controller start-up is completed after turning on the
power supply. Note that sending Commands continuously during start-up may slow
start-up.
Data Transmission Format
The transmission format of Commands and data sent from the PC to the controller is
shown below. Only uppercase letters are used.
