6-2. Error Contents and Possible Causes

The display described in this section appears on the LCD screen when an error occurs.
An error log is displayed in the form of "ERROR LOG display: XXXXXXXX".

. . . . . DOOR OPEN
Detection sensor: Ribbon door sensor, paper door sensor
Contents: A sensor does not detect a door.
Possible cause: 1. The door is not closed correctly.
2. The door detection arm is defective.
3. The door sensor or the related harness is defective. (SE-930 board, SE-931 board)
(Refer to "4-6. Sensor Detection".)

Detection sensor: Paper sensor
Contents: A sensor does not detect the printing paper when the power is turned on or when the
door is opened or closed.
Possible cause: 1. Printing paper is not loaded.
2. Printing paper was used up.
3. The paper sensor lever is defective.
4. The paper sensor or the related harness is defective. (SE-929 board)

Detection sensor: IC tag sensor
Contents: IC tag information cannot be read at all.
Possible cause: 1. A ribbon is not installed correctly.
