In the case that the numeric characters are
written down in the procedure before replacement
27. Change the four-digit numeric characters in the lower
stage to the numeric characters written down in step 4
of "Procedure before replacement" using ← and →
keys.
28. Press the EXEC key, print a test pattern (16 STEP),
and check that no problem occurs.
Upgrading

Do not turn off the power of this unit during
downloading of firmware (during display of "Now
Upgrading Don't Turn Off!!").
Procedure
1. Connect this unit and PC using a USB cable.
2. Turn on the power of this unit.
3. Download the latest firmware to PC from the homep-
age of Sony.

4. Double-click the downloaded file and upgrade the
firmware according to the message on the screen.
5. After "Now Upgrading Don't Turn Off!!" is displayed
on the LCD screen (for 30 seconds to 1 minute), the
display changes to "Upgrade Finished" and the unit is
automatically restarted. Then, the upgrading is com-
pleted.
