5-1. Start

1. Turn on the power while pressing and holding the ←
and → keys simultaneously.
2. Release these keys when "S" is displayed in the upper-
right position of the LCD screen.
The service mode is started.

Ordinary operation can be performed even during start
of the service mode.

5-2. Configuration

The service mode consists of the following menus. Select
the desired menu using ← and → keys and enter an
individual menu using a ↓ key.

5-3. INFORMATION Menu
This menu is used to display the information of this unit. It
contains nine items. Select the desired item using ↑ and ↓
keys.
ERROR LOG
A maximum of 20 errors that occurred in the past are displayed
in the ascending order every time you press the → key.

CAP PASS ERROR
Detail information is displayed on each error display
screen when you press the EXEC key.

CURRENT PRINTS
The total number of print sheets after the power is turned
on is displayed.
HEAD PRINTS
The total number of print sheets in the installed thermal
head is displayed.
Reset during thermal head replacement.
Reset
1. Press the ←, →, ←, →, and EXEC keys sequentially
with "HEAD PRINTS" displayed.
2. Check that "0" is displayed in the upper-right position
of the LCD screen.
