LAN PoE+ Interface

See (3) in
Figure
1 Gigabit LAN interface (1000 Base-T). The assignment of the RJ.45 CAT5 con-
nector supports twisted-pair UTP/STP cables in a star configuration (UTP stands
for "unshielded twisted pair", and STP for "shielded twisted pair").
Electromagnetic interference (EMI) can affect the measurement results. To
avoid any impact, use category 5 cables or better.
The power for the R&S NRQ6 is supplied over the LAN PoE+ interface.
The LAN PoE+ interface also connects the R&S NRQ6 to a local area network
(LAN) for remote control, remote operation and data transfer.
R&S NRQ6 requires PoE+
The electrical power for the R&S NRQ6 is provided by PoE+, power over
Ethernet. The IEEE 802.3at standard specifies 25.4 W per port. For details,
see
Chapter 4.5, "Connecting to a Power
The power delivery at a USB host interface is not sufficient to run the
R&S NRQ6 properly. Therefore, you cannot use it as power supply for the
R&S NRQ6.
