8.12 3RW5 HMI High Feature
Requirements
• Access protection to the 3RW5 HMI High Feature is not active or has been reset.
• Inserted micro SD card, e.g. micro SDHC Class 10
– File format: FAT32
– Capacity: max. 32 GB
• You are in the "Micro SD Card" menu.
Observe the following regarding the "device replacement" procedure
• Make sure that there is only one folder with configuration data on the micro SD card.
• Rename the folder as follows: "1P3RW5 xxx-xxx" (specify the article number instead of the
placeholder "x".)
Example: When you use a soft starter of size 3 with article number "3RW5134-2AC04", name
the folder as follows: "1P3RW5 134-2AC".
Parameters
The "Micro SD Card" menu appears after you have inserted a micro SD card into the 3RW5 HMI
High Feature.

Description
The parameters of the communication and the 3RW5
HMI High Feature are transferred from the micro SD card
to the 3RW51 soft starter . The following data is transfer‐
red:

Communication parameters
The parameters of the communication and the 3RW5
HMI High Feature are transferred from the 3RW51 soft
starter to the micro SD card. The data is saved in an au‐
tomatically generated folder. The following data is trans‐
ferred:

Device parameters of the 3RW5 HMI High Feature
•
Communication parameters
When a device is replaced, the configuration data and
communication parameters can be transferred to the
new device.
The following data is transferred:
•
I&M 1 data
•
I&M 3 data
•
Device parameters of the 3RW5 HMI High Feature
•
Communication parameters
The logbooks are backed up on the micro SD card. For
more information, see Chapter Logbooks (Page 149).
