5.6.1

Configuration

The configuration of the LHMI Test Trip function includes the following two steps:
1.
Configuration of the tripping output signal:
Add (configure) the tripping signal 21120_EXT_TEST_TRIP HMI500 menu Configuration/
Binary module/Outputs to the bay specific binary output configuration see
Command
2.
Select the Enable the Test Trip check box from HMI menu Settings/Circuit-breakers/
Details window.

The current criteria can be enabled by selecting the Enable current criteria check box .
The current criteria value can be set to a value between 0.05 and 1.0 in steps of 0.05.
5.6.2

Usage

After configuring the LHMI Test Trip, the functionality can be used on a particular feeder's
LHMI. Use down and right arrow keys in the LHMI menu Test to find the Test Trip menu.
