Adding a Standalone Auxiliary Control Unit

To install the auxiliary control unit on your CTS-1000, complete the following steps.
Power off the system by unplugging the system power cord from the wall socket.
Step 1
Remove the front panel from the frame by completing the following steps:

Attach the auxiliary control unit to its bracket using the supplied 5 mm screws.

Note
Attach the bracket so that the shortest part of the bracket attaches to the wall; otherwise the unit is too
wide to fit between the display supports.
If your installation uses a presentation codec, connect the Ethernet cable to the auxiliary control unit as

Remove the black speaker grille from the top of the front panel by grasping the sides until the pins
pop out of the holes.
Using a #3 Phillips screwdriver, remove the six screws next to the speaker (three on either side).
Pull the front panel away from the frame.
Disconnect the lighting unit from the PDU.
Connect the Primary Codec Document Camera Ethernet connection (orange Ethernet connection on
the primary codec) to one Ethernet port of the auxiliary control unit.
Connect the other Ethernet port of the auxiliary control unit to the Presentation Codec Ethernet port
(white/red Ethernet connection on the presentation codec).
