In the SMT main menu, type 5 and press [ENTER] to display the Utilities Menu screen. To
return to the Main Menu screen, press 3.

Enter a numeric between 1 and 3.

32.9.1 Firmware Upgrade

Note: You MUST run a TFTP server on a computer where a firmware file is stored to
upgrade the firmware on the VSG.
You MUST have a WAN/LAN connection between the VSG and the TFTP
server computer at the same time.
Follow the steps below to configure the TFTP settings in the SMT.
1 Connect the computer directly to the VSG through the console port. Refer to the section
on establishing a console port connection for more information.
2 In the SMT main menu, type 5 and press [ENTER] to display the Utilities Menu screen.
3 Type 1 and press [ENTER] to display the Firmware Upgrade screen.
4 Enter the IP address of the computer running the TFTP server in the TFTP Server IP
Address field.
5 Specify the name of the firmware file in the Download Filename field.
