DDNS
DDNS stands for Dynamic Domain Name Service. If the AP+4
receives dynamic IP addresses from your Internet Service
Provider, the AP+4's address changes whenever it connects to
your ISP. If you are running a Web server on your network,
clients will not know the AP+4's IP address and will be unable to
connect.
However, you can use this page to assign a Static IP Address to
the AP+4.
In the left menu pane, under Management, select DDNS to
display the Dynamic DNS Settings page.
Parameter
Select or enter . . . .
Enable DDNS
Select this check box to designate a network
computer as a DMZ.
Service Provider
Select one of these DDNS providers: DynDNS
or TZO.
Domain name
If you selected DynDNS, the default is
<yourname>.dyndns.org.
If you selected TZO, enter
<yourname>.tzo.com
User name/Email
If you selected DynDNS, enter a User Name.
If you selected TZO, enter your email address.
