Fault
Battery life is poor.
The handset is not charging
when connected to a USB

Power Save is not used.
Battery level drops significantly.
Something in a handset is
draining battery, for example
third-party app, Wi-Fi, mobile
network, or Android system itself.
The USB charger used is not
supported by the handset.
A PC is used as a USB charger,
and no charge is received from
the USB port.
Probable Cause
The ringtones and notifications
volume are set to "do not
disturb" mode (total silence,
alarms only, priority only) or
vibrator only.
TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE
Action
– Verify the coverage, since low
signal strength will make the
handset to constantly search for
other APs and thereby
consuming more power.
– Use the shortest convenient
sleep time-out in Settings >
Display > Sleep .
– Verify with another battery.
– Turn on Adaptive brightness
(Settings > Display ) or the
battery saver mode in the
notification drawer to prolong the
battery life.
– Refer to the app documenta-
tion to check if that app has been
correctly configured.
– Refer to the battery usage on a
handset by going to: Settings >
Battery and tap the percentage
charge value or battery icon at
the top.
Only use supported USB
chargers to charge the handset.
Wake the PC from sleep mode,
or try connecting to a different
USB port.
Action
Switch the "do not disturb" mode
off in the notification drawer or
increase the volume by pressing
the volume up button.
