Ascom phone (VoIP):
Fault
The app does not work as
intended (configuration error).
Location services (Location manager):

The app does not work as
intended (configuration error).

Barcode scanning does not work
on the handset.

Probable Cause
When configuring or using the
app, permissions were not
granted to access specific
features, for example to make
and manage phone calls or
access the microphone.
NOTE: If this is a probable cause,
the user should receive a
"Configuration error" notification
informing about the existing
problem. Such notifications are
persistent and stay on lock
screen and in the notification
drawer as a reminder until the
problems are solved.
Probable Cause
When configuring or using the
app, permissions were not

restrict the use of camera app on
this device.
Troubleshooting Scenarios
Action
In the opened notification drawer,
locate "Configuration error"
notification for the Ascom Phone
VoIP app and tap Settings.
Enable all the required
permissions for the app.
Permissions can be granted by
going directly into the Settings >
Apps & notifications > Ascom
VoIP > Permissions.
Action
In the opened notification drawer,
locate "Configuration error"
notification for the Location
services app and tap Settings.
Enable all the required
permissions for the app.
Permissions can be granted by
going directly into the Settings >
Apps & notifications > Location
services > Permissions.
Action
To enable the camera, on the
handset go into Settings > Apps
& notifications > See all # apps >
All apps > Disabled apps >
Camera. In the opened window,
tap Enable.
