Converting an S8300 from LSP to ICC and upgrading Communication Manager from 1.x to 2.x
20. Reboot the ICC.

primary controller that

On LSPs of the new ICC (if any)
Steps/Comments
Open a SAT session and enter reset system

After the reboot, any LSPs should be registered
with the ICC, and in a few minutes translations
should be synchronized.
Update translations — add stations and
trunks to the new ICC— using the Avaya
Installation Wizard and the Electronic
Pre-Installation Worksheet (EPW) or SAT
commands.
Place test calls to verify.
Reassign messaging system users of the
current primary controller to the messaging
system used by the new ICC. Enter test
messages to verify.
Remove endpoints from the current
primary controller.
Using the Avaya Installation Wizard on the
new ICC Web Interface to upgrade the
gateway firmware is recommended.
Alternatively, you can use the gateway's
MGP CLI commands starting on page 145.
At the LSP's SAT prompt, enter reset system

To view the LSP's translations date and time,
enter list configuration software.
