OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS COMPUTER CT- 850
BATTERIES Open the battery compartment at the rear of
the computer and install 2 x AA batteries. If the LCD is not
clear and only partial segments are displayed then
remove the batteries, wait 15 seconds, and reinstall them.
If the problem persists then install new batteries. If new
batteries do not fix the problem then consult your retailer.
Under normal use the batteries will last one year.
POWER ON The power will automatically turn on when
the batteries are installed or the MODE key is pressed or
the computer receives a speed signal.
COMPUTER FUNCTIONS
AUTO POWER OFF/ ON. As long as you are working out
the computer will operate. If there is not input for 4
minutes then the computer will automatically turn off. All
existing values will be held until the computer is powered
up again.
START STOP. If no sensor input is detected for 4
seconds the computer will stop and "P" symbol (pause)
will be displayed. All functions will resume when the
sensor input is reactivated.
SCAN. When selected this will automatically scan all
functions sequentially and display each for 6 seconds. To
select SCAN press the MODE key until SCAN appears.
NOTE. SCAN can only be selected when a sensor input is
detected and the "P" symbol is turned off.

RESISTANCE DISPLAY. This display will show the
current resistance setting from level 1 to level 16. There is
a bar graph on the left-hand side that indicates the
resistance level.
RESISTANCE LEVEL keys. There are 2 keys for setting
the resistance level. LOAD UP and LOAD DOWN. Press
the required key to change the resistance setting.
ELAPSED TIME. TIME counts up from 00:00 to 99:59. To
display TIME only press the Mode key until TIME appears.
To preset time to countdown press the MODE KEY until
TIME appears on the display. Press the SET key and the
displayed value will cycle up. By pressing and holding the
SET key for 2 seconds the display will self-cycle quickly.
TIME is preset when the desired value is displayed. To
reset TIME to zero press the RESET key.
SPEED. SPEED is displayed in km/h from 0.0 to 99.9.
SPEED and RPM share the same display and each is
displayed for 6 seconds. To display SPEED and RPM
only press the Mode key until SPEED appears.
RPM (Rounds Per Minute). RPM is displayed from 0 to
999 revolutions per minute. RPM and SPEED share the
same display and each is displayed for 6 seconds.
DISTANCE. DISTANCE is displayed in km/h from 0.00 to
99.99. To display DISTANCE only press the Mode key
until DISTANCE appears. To preset DISTANCE to
countdown press the MODE KEY until DISTANCE
appears on the display. Press the SET key and the
displayed value will cycle up. By pressing and holding the
