chemical compounds, as they may adversely affect appliance surfaces.
Attention! Do not immerse the appliance or its base in water or other liquids.
8.2
Descaling
In order to remove scale deposited inside the kettle and on the heating element,
prepare a solution of water and vinegar (1 part vinegar per 2 parts water). Pour the
solution into the kettle and heat it up, but DO NOT BOIL THE SOLUTION! Leave the
solution in the kettle for about 1 hour, then pour it out, fill the kettle with water up
to the maximum level and boil the water. Pour the water out and remove deposit
residues with a damp cloth. If water at your location leaves lots of scale, frequent
descaling is recommended. Do not perform descaling with chemicals intended for
coffee makers or irons.
Attention! Descaling frequency depends on the quality and type of water used and
on how frequently the product is used. Descaling should be performed when you
notice that more than a quarter of the bottom surface is covered with scale.
