8.1 BASIC RULES
Proper and regular cleaning will ensure safe operation and extend the useful life
of the appliance.
Warning! Before performing cleaning and maintenance operations, turn
the appliance off, disconnect it from the power source and let it cool
down, so as to avoid burns and electrocution.
a) Remove dust with a dry cloth or brush.
b) You can remove stubborn dirt with a damp cloth and a neutral detergent.
Attention!
Do not clean the appliance with any strong chemicals, alkali, abrasive
or disinfecting agents, as they may damage the surface of the appliance.
Attention!
Do not immerse the appliance or its base in water or other liquids.
8.2 DESCALING
Celem usunięcia osadzającego się kamienia wewnątrz czajnika przygotować
roztwór wody z octem (w proporcjach pół na pół). Wlać go następnie do
czajnika i podgrzać, ale NIE GOTOWAĆ! Pozostawić roztwór w czajniku na około
1 godzinę, po czym wylać go, napełnić czajnik do pełna wodą i zagotować.
Konieczne jest jednak późniejsze kilkakrotne przegotowanie wody, aby pozbyć
się charakterystycznego octowego zapachu. Po wylaniu wody usunąć resztki
osadu wilgotną szmatką. W przypadku obfitego wydzielania się osadu z wody
zaleca się częstsze odkamienianie. Do usuwania kamienia nie należy używać
środków chemicznych przeznaczonych do ekspresów i żelazek.
Attention!
Descaling frequency depends on the quality and type of water used. Descaling
should be performed when you notice that more than ¼ of the heating element
surface is covered with scale.
