The Avid NEXIS File Gateway server enables network users to access the Avid NEXIS workspaces
in a non-realtime scenario. The Avid NEXIS media network provides a high-performance distributed
file system that contains high-capacity shared media storage for workgroups of connected
workstations.

This document describes the features for all Avid NEXIS shared storage networks. Therefore, your
system might not contain certain features that are covered in the documentation.
