Editing a User Record

Decide on the user number you wish to modify then follow the instructions below:
1. Press: Ctrl 1
2. Select: Administration [4]
3. Select: User Records [1]
4. Select: Edit [1]
5. Type in the new user number you wish to edit, e.g. 123 and press Enter.
6. If there is only one pager type on the system you will automatically be taken to
step 7. If you do not wish to change the pager type, press Enter to confirm
current selection and go to step 7. If you have more than one receiver type
on the system, you may change the receiver type by pressing the
scroll through the different pager options. To make your selection press Enter
twice.
7. You will now be shown the pager number allocated to this user. If you wish to
retain the pager number, press Enter. You may change this by typing in a
new number, e.g. 789 then press Enter.
8. If you have a telephone coupling and Numeric or Alphanumeric pagers with
Fast Alpha you will be asked to select Telephone Message. To leave the
Telephone Message unmodified press Enter. To change the Telephone
Message press 1 or 0 for Yes or No then press Enter.
9. If speech is not enabled you will automatically be taken to step 10. If speech
is available and telephone speech is required press Enter. If speech is not
required press 0 then press Enter then go to step 10.
10. You will be shown Status. To change this press 1 for IN or 0 for OUT
followed by Enter. To leave status unmodified press Enter.
11. If there is a call transfer set for this user, you may either cancel it by pressing
Delete followed by Enter, OR you may change it by typing in a new user
number followed by Enter.
12. You have now examined and edited the contents of the user record. If you
have made any changes you will receive confirmation: Changes Saved.
13. Press the Enter key to repeat the process, OR press Ctrl 1 to return to the
main menu.
