SYSTEM MANAGEMENT FACILITIES

4.1

Introduction

This section describes how to perform system management facilities on Access
3000 Compact and is intended for use by the System Manager. All system
management facilities are configured through the Operator Console and you are
taken step-by-step through each one of the prompts on the display.
If there are any terms, which are unfamiliar and you require greater clarification,
refer to the Glossary of Terms, see Appendix I at the back of this guide.
To carry out management and administration on Access 3000 Compact, various
menus will require selection, please use the Up (↑) and Down (↓) arrow keys to
scroll through menu options. To select a menu make sure that you scroll to the
top line of the display and press the Enter key, alternatively you can select the
number associated with the menu option. Throughout this section the associated
number is shown in brackets, i.e. [1].
If you require a system overview of Access 3000 Compact with regard to Menu
Structure, refer to the System Schematic, Appendix II of this guide.
