13 Verify that the power amplifier is operating properly.
• The power amplifier Status and Transmit LEDs are green.
• The Alarm LED is off.
• Proper operation is confirmed using software tools, such as Unified Event Manager, and the Transmitter
Metering Screen in Configuration/Service Software (CSS).
14 Enable the base radio as follows:
a. Select Service → Test Measurement Screen from the menu.
b. Click Change to Normal Mode.
Step result: The base radio is enabled.
