8.2 Unpacking

Upon receipt of the goods, make sure that they

correspond with the material indicated in the de-
livery note.
Carefully examine the packed unit(s) for any sign
of physical damage. Two TiltWatch indicators (see
figure 8.2-1) are placed on two sides of the
packed unit, in a clearly visible position. They
should both be intact and should not be red. If
tipping has occurred the white arrow becomes
red, as shown in figure 8.2-1 below.
In the case of damaged unit(s) or even in the case
of suspected damage (TiltWatch is red) inform
immediately:
• The carrier
• The manufacturer

VISIBLE TRANSPORT DAMAGES MUST BE
CLAIMED TO THE CARRIER IMMEDIATELY
AFTER RECEIPT.
OTHER CLAIM FOR SHIPPING DAMAGE
SHOULD ALSO BE FILED IMMEDIATELY
AND THE CARRIER MUST BE INFORMED
NOTE
WITHIN 7 DAYS OF RECEIPT OF THE
EQUIPMENT. THE MATERIALS USED FOR
PACKING SHOULD BE STORED FOR
FURTHER INVESTIGATION
