Safety Symbols

The following symbols on the instrument and in the documentation indicate
precautions which must be taken to maintain safe operation of the instrument.
Direct current (DC)
Alternating current (AC)
Both direct and alternating current
Three-phase alternating current
Earth (ground) terminal
Protective earth (ground) terminal
Frame or chassis (ground) terminal
Equipotentiality
This symbol indicates that a device, or
part of a device, may be susceptible to
electrostatic discharges (ESD) which
can result in damage to the product.
Observe ESD precautions given on the
product, or its user documentation,
when handling equipment bearing this
mark.

switch for 'Stand-by' mode.
Note, this instrument is NOT isolated
from the mains when the switch is
pressed. To isolate the instrument, the
mains coupler (mains input cord)
should be removed from the power
supply.
