Sensor Error

If a sensor error occurs, the indicators on the operator panel lights up as follows.
Check Indicator
Flashes once
Take the following measures.

If the problem still persists, write down the status of the indicators, check each item in
Scanner Service Provider (page 117)

Optical error (ADF Front)

If an optical error occurs in the front of the ADF, the indicators on the operator panel light up as follows.
Check Indicator
Flashes 2 times
Take the following measures.
● Refer to Cleaning the Inside of the Scanner (ADF) with a Cloth (page 72)
● Turn the scanner off then back on.
If the problem still persists, write down the status of the indicators, check each item in
Scanner Service Provider (page 117)
