ZAIO-MI – The ZAIO-MI is used when both an input needs to be monitored and at the same
time a local output (relay output) needs to be triggered to switch ancillary equipment on
or off during an alarm condition. Typical output triggering includes: controlling lift
operation during an alarm, starting fire pump, stopping ventilation fans etc.
ZAZM-MI – The ZAZM-MI is a conventional zone that can be used for conventional devices
and/or for special detectors that are not available in addressable form such as UV
detectors, Aspiration detectors etc. For more details and connection information consult

To identify a double address detector in the Zeta Alarm Systems SMARTCONNECT SMART6, check the DIP switch address settings. A double address detector will respond to two consecutive addresses. If two detectors are configured with the same DIP switch settings or respond to the same address, this indicates a double address condition. Use the DIP switch table to verify that each detector has a unique address.
