Vertical Auger Continued
The bearing located at the end of the swivel vertical
auger should get 1 to 2 careful pumps of grease every
day of constant use.
Excessive pressure while applying grease can be harmful to the
bearing seals.

Apply never seize to shaft that goes through
pillow block bearing once every 40 hours.
The mid-bearing on the vertical auger has a
grease fitting that is accessible with the auger
folded. Grease at this location daily under
normal conditions and more frequently if dusty
or hot.
