Image Quality Trouble

If the image quality of a printed document is poor, identify the symptom in the following table to perform
the remedy.
If image quality does not improve even after performing the remedy, contact your local Fuji Xerox repre-
sentative.
Symptom
Color density is less than desired.
Tone jumping or tonal defect appears.
Colors do not match the previously
printed samples.
Printing is faint (rough, smudged,
unclear).
Black dots are printed.
Black or colored lines are printed.
Cause
Output characteristics has
been changed by the
changes in environment or
conditions.
The paper is damp.
The Fusing Module may be
dirty.
There is a possibility of
transfer defect.
The drum cartridge has
deteriorated or is damaged.
The toner is old.
There is no toner left in the
toner cartridge.
The Fusing Module may be
dirty.
The drum cartridge has
deteriorated or is damaged.
The Fusing Module may be
dirty.
The drum cartridge has
deteriorated or is damaged.
Remedy
Correct the print quality with Full Width
Array.
Refer

User Interface Manual.
Replace paper.
Clean the Fusing Module on a regular basis.

Specify each item for [Advanced Stock
Setup] on Stock Library.

Contact your local Fuji Xerox representative
to replace the Drum Cartridge.
Clean the toner on a regular basis.

Replace the toner cartridge with a new one.
Clean the Fusing Module on a regular basis.
