• 2 layers of 623T9 Nylglass Stockinette
The enclosed 4X3 Lamination Protection covers the adjustment pyramid
during the lamination procedure with 617H19 Orthocryl Lamination Resin
80:20 or 617H55 C-Orthocryl and provides an accurately fitting brim of the
laminate (fig. 6).
3.2 Maintenance Instructions
Note:
As a basic principle, all Ottobock modular adapters are subjected to tests
involving three million load cycles. Depending on the amputee's activity
this corresponds to a service life of three to five years.
We recommend carrying out regular safety checks once a year.
4 Liability
The manufacturer recommends using the device only under the specified
conditions and for the intended purposes. The device must be maintained
according to the Instructions for Use. The device must only be operated
with tested modular components in accordance with the Ottobock Mobility
System. The manufacturer is not liable for damage caused by component
combinations that were not authorized by the manufacturer.
5 Warranty
Ottobock warrants this product/these products from the date of purchase.
The warranty covers defects that can be proven to be a direct result of flaws
in the material, production or construction. Because warranty conditions may
differ by country, please contact your local Ottobock distribution company
for more information.
6 CE conformity
This product meets the requirements of the 93/42/EWG guidelines for medi-
cal products. This product has been classified as a class I product accord-
ing to the classification criteria outlined in appendix IX of the guidelines.
The declaration of conformity was therefore created by Ottobock with sole
responsibility according to appendix VII of the guidelines.
