3.1 Recommendations for the Layup
• 2 layers of 623T9 Nylglass Stockinette
• 1 layer of 616G12 Carbon Fiber Cloth
• 1 layer of 616G4 Fiberglass Matting
• 1 strip of 616G12 Carbon Fiber Cloth – lateral and medial (fig. 1)
• 1 strip of 616G12 Carbon Fiber Cloth – circularly applied below the patella
• 2 layers of 623T9 Nylglass Stockinette
• The hollow space of the socket adapter is filled with a mixture of 617H21
Orthocryl Sealing Resin and 617Z8 Microballoons. Following this the
socket adapter is placed on the model. Then align the socket adapter
perpendicularly according to the marking of the 4X3 Lamination Protection
(fig. 2).
• 1 layer of 616G12 Carbon Fiber Cloth over the socket adapter (fig. 3)
