Steady GREEN LED indicates the card is getting shelf power.
NTWK
Steady GREEN LED indicates a properly operating network
interface.
When the LED goes off, any of the following alarm conditions can be
in effect:
NS (No Signal) (175±75 consecutive zeros)
OOF (Out Of Frame), AIS (Alarm Indication Signal)
RAI (Remote Alarm Indication).
TM
Test Mode: RED - ON indicates any test initiated either by the
manager, network or the DTE.
ALM
Alarm: RED - ON indicates any alarm condition in effect, including
the network interface alarms, NS, OOF, excessive errors, but not for
AIS or RAI. While in test, the LED remains lit unless errors are
detected, in which case it flashes off periodically.
RCV/XMIT
Network Transmit/Receive - 75 ohm BNC coax connectors provides
connection to DS3 network.
DTE INTFC
DTE interface - HSSI high-density connector (SCSI-2) 3 - 44.2Mbps.
