Safety

3.1

Intended use

The system is to be used only for pumping faecal-free wastewater.
Use of the system in a potentially explosive environment (ATEX) is only permitted when the pumping station is certified
accordingly (ATEX certified).
Any
modifications or attachments

Note:
The control unit is equipped with a protective circuit to protect the system's electrical components from damage in
case of possible voltage peaks. This does not protect against lightning. If such requirements exist, an appropriate
protective device must be installed on site.
3.2

Personnel selection and qualification

Persons who install the pumping station must
be at least 18 years old.
have been sufficiently trained and be sufficiently qualified for the respective tasks.
be familiar with and follow the relevant technical rules and safety regulations.
Qualified personnel are persons who, on the basis of their training and experience as well as their knowledge of
the relevant provisions, current standards and accident prevention regulations, can carry out the required tasks
and both recognise and avoid any possible hazards.
Work on electrical components may only be carried out by appropriately trained skilled personnel and in
compliance with all relevant accident prevention regulations (UVV).
3.3

Organisational safety measures

The operating and maintenance instructions must be kept available at all times.
