6. Secure the locking lever by moving it to the left (see Figure 10 – Step 2). If the lever stucks at
around the center position, apply a bit more pressure to the Lumencor SPECTRA 6 unit.
7. Close the protective cover of the Pannoramic® 250 FLASH III.
8. Connect power supply cables both of the scanner and the illumination unit.
9. Connect TTL trigger cable between pco.edge 4.2 camera (out 4) and the Lumencor SPECTRA 6
unit (TTL), and USB-to-RS232 communication cable between the Lumencor unit and the
computer.

2.5 Power the scanner on/off

The main power switch is a rocker switch (see Figure 2 – part 4 in chapter 1.1.4 ) that is located at the
bottom right side of the scanner. Press the side down facing I on the rocker switch to turn the scanner
on, and press the side down facing O on the switch to turn the scanner off.
