8. Press the slide loader (2) down to mechanical stop position, in which the locking lever must
engage (1). Use moderate force to press the loader part opposite the motor in clamp
direction, until this part mechanically engages, too.
9. Close the protective cover again (see chapter 7.4.1 Opening the protective cover).
10. Launch the control software.

7.4.4 Installing and Removing the Filter Module (Fluorescent Option)

1. Turn off the illumination unit.
Crush hazard! Stop the running digitization process and turn off the
scanner (refer to chapter 2.5 Power the scanner on/off) before you
proceed with filter module installation or removal.
2. Select the desired filter in the corresponding software window (see chapter 5.6.1 Settings).
The filter will be positioned in such a way that the user can access it without having to turn
the filter wheel manually.
3. Power off the scanner. See chapter 2.5 Power the scanner on/off on how to power off the
device.
4. Open the protective cover (see chapter 7.4.1 Opening the protective cover).
