Page 2 of the I/O Setup And Status screens is shown in Figure 20 and allows configuration and
display of the Analogue Inputs and Outputs.
The first Analogue Input is for the Weigh Scale and can be configured as either a 0-20mA or 4-
20mA signal.
Once the input type has been selected the input should be set to a known value and the Weigh
Scale Input should be checked. The Weigh Scale Input value displays 0 when at 0 or 4 mA
(depending on the Input Type setting) and displays 4095 when the input is at 20mA.
The second Analogue Input and Analogue Outputs are for future use.
Valve and flow meter testing

To test the valves function correctly, follow this procedure:
1.
Open the first I/O Setup And Status page as in the previous section. When the page is
opened, the water meter value is reset to zero.
2.
Weigh a container and place it underneath the water inlet to collect the water that is
dosed during the testing.
3.
Open the Coarse Valve by pressing the icon
4.
Check the valve opens, water flows and the water meter counts up
5.
Close the Coarse Valve by pressing the icon again.
6.
Open the Fine Valve by pressing the icon on the screen.
7.
Check the valve opens, water flows and the water meter counts up.
8.
Close the Fine Valve by pressing the icon again.
9.
Weigh the container and contents to determine how much water has been collected.
Record this and the value from the Water Meter reading on the screen.
10. Press Menu
Use the following equation to determine the water meter flow per pulse for entry into the System
Parameters screen:
NB: Weight of water in kilograms = Volume of water in litres
