Trasporto e stoccaggio
1. Lasciare che il motore si raffreddi prima di traspor-
tarlo o immagazzinarlo.
2. Prima del trasporto del gruppo elettrogeno, portare
l'interruttore di accensione in posizione (off) e il ru-
binetto di benzina in posizione (off).
3. Tenere il gruppo elettrogeno in posizione orizzontale
in modo che la benzina non fuoriesca. Vapori di ben-
zina o benzina versata possono incendiarsi.
4. Non lasciare che il gruppo elettrogeno cada e non
esporlo a colpi durante il trasporto.
5. Non appoggiare oggetti pesanti sul gruppo elettro-
geno.
Prima dell'immagazzinamento dell'apparecchio per un
lungo periodo di tempo: accertarsi che il luogo di depo-
sito non sia eccessivamente umido o polveroso.
In caso di immagazzinamento per un lungo periodo
1 Svuotare il serbatoio di carburante e far funzionare a
vuoto il carburatore.
2 Svitare la candela di accensione.
3 Versare circa 20 ml di olio motore pulito attraverso il
foro della candela di accensione nel cilindro.
4 Quindi tirare verso fuori lentamente la corda dello
starter in modo che l'olio si distribuisca nel motore e
riavviare la candela di accensione.
5 Rimuovere a fondo sporcizia, depositi e polvere dal
motore e dalla testata del cilindro.
6 Pulire il filtro dell'aria oppure sostituire in caso di forte
sporco o danneggiamento.
7 Conservare il generatore in un luogo asciutto, lontano
dalla portata dei bambini.
8 Non lasciare l'apparecchio all'aperto incustodito.
9 Coprire il dispositivo e il motore per proteggerlo dalla
polvere e depositarlo in un luogo pulito e asciutto.
In caso di nuova messa in funzione dopo un lungo
periodo di conservazione
1. Sostituire l'olio motore.
2. Rifornire di benzina nuova prima di riavviare il motore
dopo il periodo di deposito.
Se il motore non è stato utilizzato per oltre un mese,
cambiamenti della qualità della benzina possono cau-
sare un difficile avvio del motore o altro. Per prevenire
ciò, svitare la vite di sfiato del carburatore e far scari-
care la benzina dallo stesso. Aprire inoltre il rubinetto
di benzina in modo che questa fuoriesca dal serbatoio.

Transport and storage
1 Allow the engine to cool before transporting or stor-
ing it.
2 Before transporting the power unit, switch the igni-
tion to the (off) position and turn the fuel valve to the
(off) position
3 Keep the power unit level so that no petrol is spilled.
Petrol vapour or spilled petrol may ignite.
4 Ensure that the power unit does not fall and do not
subject it to any blows during transport.
5 Do not place any heavy items on the power unit.
Before storing the unit for a long period of time: Ensure
that the storage location is not excessively damp or
dusty.
When storing for a long period of time
1 Empty the fuel tank and run the carburettor empty.
2 Unscrew the spark plug.
3 Pour approximately 20 ml of clean engine oil through
the spark plug hole into the cylinder.
4 Pull the starter rope out slowly so that the oil distrib-
utes itself in the engine and screw the spark plug
back in.
5 Remove all dirt, deposits and dust from the engine
and the cylinder head ridges.
6 Clean the air filter or replace it if it is very dirty.
7 Store the generator securely in a dry place that is
inaccessible to children.
8 The unit may not be stored in the open.
9 Cover the unit and the engine to protect against dust
and store in a clean, dry place.
When re-commissioning after a long period of stor-
age
1 Change the engine oil.
2 Fill with fresh petrol before starting the motor after
the storage period.
If the engine is not used for more than one month,
changes to the petrol quality may result in difficulties
starting the engine or in other issues. To prevent this,
loosen the carburettor's drain screw and allow the petrol
to run out. Also open the fuel valve so that the petrol
drains from the tank.
