Work materials
■ Use of group 1 coating material fluids (EC 1272/2008) in SATA FDG 24
and SATA FDG 48 is prohibited.
■ Use of acidic or alkaline spray media is prohibited.
■ Use of solvents with halogenated hydrocarbons, gasoline, kerosene,
herbicides, pesticides and radioactive substances is prohibited. Halo-
genated solvents could lead to the formation of explosive and caustic
chemical compounds.
■ Paint pressure tanks are made of ultra-durable stainless steel. How-
ever, consult your SATA dealer when working with highly corrosive or
abrasive spray media.
■ When working with the paint pressure tank, always limit solvents,
paints, coatings or other hazardous media to the quantities required for
the paint job.
Operating parameters
■ Paint pressure tanks must only be operated within the range of parame-
ters indicated on the type plate.
Connected components
■ The connected components must reliably withstand the expected ther-
mal, chemical and mechanical load requirements when operating the
pressure tank.
■ Disconnecting pressurized hoses could cause injuries due to uncon-
trolled hose movements and spilling of paint material. Always bleed the
hoses completely before removal.
General
■ Never move the paint pressure tank while pressurized.
■ Comply with local regulations concerning safety, accident prevention,
occupational safety and environmental protection.

3. Intended Use

The paint pressure tank is designed for the application of sprayable media
(paints / other materials) using compressed air.

4. Description

The paint pressure tank is used for large quantities of liquid paint material.
Compressed air transports the paint material to the manual or automatic
gun.
