2.2. Personal Protection Equipment
Always use approved breathing and eye protection, suitable protective
gloves, workwear and safety boots when using the material pressure tank
and during cleaning and maintenance work.
2.3. Use in explosive atmospheres
The material pressure tank is approved for use / storage in explosive at-
mospheres of ex-zone 1 and 2. Zone code:

2.4. Safety Instructions
Installation site
■ For installation in explosive atmospheres, prior to initial commissioning
the material pressure tank must be inspected in accordance with the
Industrial Safety Regulations by a qualified specialist having adequate
knowledge of the ATEX Directive.
■ Never use the material pressure tank in the vicinity of electrical equip-
ment that is not explosion-proof.
■ Keep the material pressure tank away from ignition sources such as
naked flames, burning cigarettes or flying sparks.
■ Working areas where dangerous substances are processed or stored
must be adequately ventilated. In the event of ventilation failure, the
work must be stopped immediately and any agitators must be switched
off.
Technical status
■ Never start using the material pressure tank when damaged or when
parts are missing.
■ If the material pressure tank is damaged, stop working with it immedi-
ately, disconnect it from the compressed air supply system and vent the
unit completely.
■ Never make any unauthorised modifications or technical changes to the
material pressure tank.
■ Every time before using the material pressure tank, check the unit with
