In case the unit is in the AEC mode the default
exposure values are used. These values can-
not be changed by the user.
Press the return key to move the rotating assembly to
the ready position and the cassette carriage to the
loading position if they are not already in that position.
Press the temple support key to open the temple sup-
ports if they are not already open.
Guide the patient to the unit so that they are facing the
chin rest.
Press either of the height adjusting keys to adjust the
height of the vertical carriage until the chin rest is
slightly higher than the patient's chin. By positioning
the chin rest slightly higher than the patient's chin the
patient will be encouraged to stretch up to reach the
chin rest. This will help to stretch and straighten the
patient's cervical vertebrae.
