Note:
If you upgrade Branch Gateway from Release 7.1.0.3 Build 38.21.1 to Release 7.1.2 Build
39.xx or later (Build 40.xx) the system will prompt to enable or disable EASG.
Note:
In Release 7.1 or later, the gateway defaults to using TLS 1.2, PTLS, and unencrypted H.248
communication with CM. Refer to the "set link-encryption" command to adjust these settings.

Firmware upgrades using Solution Deployment Manager

You can use Solution Deployment Manager to view your network inventory and the firmware
vintages of devices on your network. Solution Deployment Manager can also check the software
versions currently in use against the latest versions available from Avaya and recommend updates
when a newer version is available. Based on this information, you can download new firmware to
multiple network devices simultaneously from a single management station, ensuring all devices
are updated.
By using Solution Deployment Manager, you can update the software on your devices.
For information about using Solution Deployment Manager, see Administering Avaya Aura
System Manager.
Note:
Solution Deployment Manager does not currently support automated upgrades from releases
prior to Release 7.1 2.
