IO-Link Programming
After parameterization, you must save the new configuration of the parameters in the non-
volatile memory of the rotary encoder.
Programming the rotary encoder
1. Set the required parameters for the Operation Mode Configuration and the Output Configu-
ration.
2. Save the settings to the rotary encoder by clicking on "Store to device" (1).
The data is saved to the rotary encoder. As confirmation, you can read out the stored
data from the rotary encoder by clicking on "Read from device" (2).
Note!
When the programming has been completed, you can disconnect the rotary encoder from the
IO-Link master. To use the rotary encoder in normal operation with a higher-level control panel,
you must use a suitable connection cable (see chapter 3.3 for the connection assignment).
