OPERATION
Three speed transmission has a belt
drive input
to three sets of constant mesh gears. These
gears are selected through sliding keys and
locked to the shift collar. This gear train drives
the final output through a non-slip ball clutch.
This feature eliminates drive train drag when
maneuvering mower without drive engaged.
You may place the speed control lever
in three
positions to control ground speed. With the
engine running at 3200 RPM the ground speed
in position 1 is 1.9 mph, position 2 is 2.7 mph
and position 3 is 3.4 mph.
