Open access cover at the rear of mower
by removing the screw at the top. Remove
cover from mower.
Remove battery bracket from access
cover and position around the battery.
Reassemble bracket with battery to access
cover and tighten both screws securely.
Toque mounting screws to 30 in.-lbs.
(3 ft.-lbs.) (4 N.M)
Connect battery wire harness to wire har-
ness on mower. Push connector completely to-
gether.
Before closing access cover make sure wires
are not hanging into the transmission pulley-
belt area.
Close the access cover which fits in a slot in the
mower housing and securely tighten the screw
at the top of cover.
Torque mounting screw to 30 In.-lbs.
