16. Logging facility

16.2 Fault logs

All Faults occurring on the system – MX, NX and connected Outstations are logged
on the respective panel. Date and time stamp is recorded for all faults. All fault
indications are indicated within 100s of their occurrence. If any fault occurs while a
call is in progress, audible indication for fault is suppressed. It will be restored within
100s of ending of call.
Active faults on any device installed on the network is indicated to MASTER panel.
Active faults log of MASTER panel records that the respective panel is in fault.
Fault log of the respective panel can then be accessed either remotely (via MASTER
panel) or locally. The fault log on all MX16 panels is accessible through the LCD
under "Fault Log" option.

Remote access of any panel (MX/NX) from MASTER puts the remote

panel in 'Engineering mode'. When in engineering mode the panel that is in
engineering mode cannot make, receive or transfer calls.

In case of above faults, check the power connections – AC mains to pSu, pSu to
main board, pSu to battery, replacement of batteries. If the faults persist, call for
engineering support.
